Clingy

A few nights ago Jiji picked up a new habit.

He sleeps on top of me and when I say on me, it's on my face.

Since whenever I sleep I tend to cover my face with pillows or a blanket, he may not know that I was underneath it. But it didn't suffocate me in fact, I think his purr might have put me into a deep slumber. It's comforting apart from the pressure of his weight.

He starts developing this no personal space habit whenever I am too hooked up with my phone watching Netflix or scrolling down articles or social media. He became extra clingy and who could blame him, since he is the only cat in the house.

You see my house is not yet cat friendly, since I couldn't drill any platforms on the wall for him to explore and to climb so I get why he is a bit flustered. I didn't manage to get him a treehouse but only toys, pouring out physical attention or bringing him out for walks. I am not a perfect cat mum, but I will tend to his needs as much as I possibly can. Bringing another addition to the family is not an option, for now.
